Delivered kerbside by lorry in 6-10 working days.
How to fix
Inner skin only, never the outside sheet. Check whether it goes over purlin or under purlin before the first sheet goes up.
Over purlin: lay it on the purlins, pans on the purlin, crowns up. Under purlin: fix it to the underside of the purlins, pans against them, crowns down.
Side lap one crown, crown on crown, taped. End lap 150 mm minimum, on a support, with a sealant strip across the lap on the fixing line.
Five fixings per sheet, one in every pan, at every support. Never through a crown.
Fix and seal the liner fully before any spacer bracket goes on.
Support centres and screw length: as set by your building's design; ask us if unsure.

Overview

20/1000 Liner Profile Over Purlin Sheet

The inner skin of a twin-skin roof or wall. Laid over the purlins or rails, it gives the inside of the building a clean, finished steel lining, with insulation and the outer sheet built up on top. Smooth polyester paint finish in White or Black.

Made to order at our Highbridge site and cut to the exact length you need.

  • Roof, over purlin: laid on the Z purlins, then spacer brackets and top-hat bars, insulation, and an outer sheet such as 32/1000 Box Profile
  • Wall: fixed to the outside face of the rails, with the same spacer, insulation and outer sheet built over it
  • An inner skin only, never the outside sheet
